My son, Josh, is a rep U11 pitcher and he has worked with numerous coaches, many of whom have played professional baseball. None of them have been as effective as Ethan and Zack, and none made pitching as fun. Each time we met, they were well prepared and had pre-planned drills for Josh. They taught him a cutter in his first lesson which he is throwing effectively and that he’s really proud of. “Ethan and Zack worked with my 9 year old son as private baseball coaches during the summer of 2020 which was the summer of COVID-19. With all organized sports cancelled Ethan and Zack saw a need in the community for kids to get some outdoor activity and did an absolutely amazing job serving that need. The time my son spent with them was the highlight of his week, and he had a great time working with them on his baseball skills. They were fun to hang out with, and firm when they needed to be. Not only did he improve his baseball skills, but he expanded his love for the game. As a parent, Ethan and Zack were a dream to coordinate with. They were exceptionally organized, responsive, and always on time. When situations like weather cancellations came up, alternative times were always offered to accommodate our schedule. During this strange time when everything was cancelled nobody really knew what was going on, Ethan and Zack provided a safe, fun and exceptionally well organized professional experience for our son. My son (9) participated in a number of private clinics with Ethan and Zack this past summer. Of all the instructional sessions my son has participated in across many sports over the years, I can honestly say I’ve never seen such a large improvement in such a short period of time. When my son showed up at his first clinic, he didn’t really understand the basic mechanics of pitching. By his fourth or fifth session he was basically begging me to be a pitcher on his team next year. Ethan and Zack are extremely professional, well prepared for each lesson and very engaged. You can tell that they have taken the time to plan a lesson catered to each individual. Communication in planning dates and times for sessions is extremely flexible and responsive. Most importantly, they are both very patient and fantastic with the teaching skills required for improvement. I wish I could continue on with them over the winter but know that I will be back next summer.
